The practice of cupping has been around for centuries. It has been practiced in ancient times involving early Chinese, Egyptian, and the Greek civilizations. Some of the literature indicates cupping has been around as early as as 1550 BC. There is evidence of cupping was found the time of King Tut. Since then it has been documented by Greeks, Romans, Romans, Hippocrates [460-377 BC] and Galen [131-200 AD], Ibn Sina [980-1037 AD] Avicenna, and in used extensively Prophetic tradition of Muhammad (p) (570–622 A.D.), known as Hijama or Al-Hijama (Root word Arabic: حجامة‎ “sucking” or “medicinal bleeding”.

Cupping is not typically used to remove vaccines. Logistically speaking , covid vaccines are given Intramuscularly, through the deeper the layers of skin. If someone has a reaction to the vaccine, for example , with redness and swelling , it is quite possible that cupping can help remove systemic/allergic reactions. Regardless, the process of cupping allows for deep vacuum suction , and will definitely filter out harmful toxins. • Patients on blood thinners cannot receive wet cupping (Plavix, Xaralto) etc. or if they have any bleeding problems such as hemophilia
• Pregnant women will not be treated.

There are two types of cupping : Dry and Wet Dry cupping is the other form of cupping where no incision are made and cups are used to create suction. After creating suction the cups are removed and toxin eventually are removed by normal means (i.e. through the urine). Wet cupping is basically dry cupping plus repeated suction along with small incisions that will be made over the skin. This draws toxins directly out of the circulation . It should only be done by trained by medical professionals as it involves blood and blood products. It is not for everyone, please discuss with your practitioner to see what types of cupping is best suited to you as an individual. For example, people taking blood thinners would not be a candidate for wet cupping.

• Cupping involves the creation of vacuum suction or negative pressure.
• This ‘suction ‘  starts to collect blood along with toxins that are brought to the surface.
• Small cuts are then made on the skin.
• Suction cups are re applied to the skin  allowing for increased absorption at the arterial and venous end of the small capillaries.
• Toxins are collected at the end and discarded.
